Our home port is the NAPALUBU - NEBŘICH MARINA, located in the Nebřich Forest Campground on the Slap Dam. Home ports are available to you throughout your holiday. In the marina Nebřich you can use the sanitary facilities of the camping site (shower, toilets), of which the marina is a part. You also have the possibility to use the containers for sorted waste, the parking lot or the refreshment stand. Furthermore, you can refill your drinking water directly on the pier or use the possibility of sitting at a table with a shelter.
You do not need a skipper's license, small craft pilot (VMP) or any other certificate to drive our boats, which are categorized as "no VMP license". However, you must comply with the Rules of Navigation, the Rental Company's Operating Rules, the User's Handbook for the vessel in question and the General Terms and Conditions. All documents will be sent to you at the same time as your booking confirmation and are also included with the boat. The only difference between owners of a licence and those who do not have one is that the maximum permitted speed is limited to 15km/hour. The boat can be driven by a person over 18 years of age. For those of you who would like to gain more confidence in steering and mooring before actually hiring the boat on the booked date, we have arranged the option of fitness rides.
The boat mooring in the Napalub marina of the Nebrich Forest Camp is part of the Slap Dam. You can wander around Slapy or go further towards the Orlík dam and use the boat lift that takes the boat to the Orlík dam. From there you can sail to Hluboká nad Vltavou or to České Budějovice. In this direction there are several locks that you need to cross on the way, more in the link Operating hours of locks. The boat journey from the Slapy dam to Hluboká nad Vltavou or České Budějovice and back to the home marina in Slapy takes approximately one week. The journey from Slapy towards Prague is not possible. Instead of a lock or a boat lift, a tractor is used to cross the Slap dam, for which our boats are too big.
